Patricia Tarabelsi - Associated Counsel, Miami
Patricia Tarabelsi is from Boston, Massachusetts and holds dual citizenship with the U.S. and Italy. She is a graduate of Suffolk Law School in Boston and also studied at the Brussels School of International Studies where she earned an LL.M. degree in International Law from the University of Kent Law School (U.K.). For her dissertation, she interned at the United Nations in Vienna, Austria where she conducted research and worked with top leaders of the organization. In Brussels, Ms. Tarabelsi also worked at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young on a European Commission Study on accessibility and functions of Italian government websites to the public.
Ms. Tarabelsi has extensive tax experience that confronts international businesses and has worked for both the Appellate Tax Board of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and one of the big four accounting firms, Deloitte Tax, LLP. She has lived in four different countries, and has traveled extensively throughout the world.
Ms. Tarabelsi is co-founder of an international non-profit organization, has been on the Board of Directors of several organizations and has consulted international NGO's on the legal and tax implications of U.S. chapters. She was also featured in the “Women to Watch” section in the April/May 2001 issue of Ms. Magazine. Ms. Tarabelsi is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and to practice in front of the U.S. Tax Court in Washington, D.C. She is fluent in English and Italian.
