Marco Rossi is the Founder and Principal of the International Law Firm of Marco Q. Rossi & Associati and his practice concentrates upon international taxation and business law.
Following his graduation cum laude from University of Genoa School of Law in Genoa, Italy in 1990, Marco began his career in the area of international contracts and shipping and transportation law in 1991, working for Italian clients engaged in transactions in foreign countries and foreign clients in Italy, progressively expanding his practice to the areas of international tax and corporate law and working extensively for American clients in Italy and as Italian correspondent of foreign law firms.
Marco started his own practice in 1998 and established Marco Q. Rossi & Associati as Italy-U.S. international boutique law firm with offices in Italy and New York in 2005. Since then MQR&A has grown into a truly global boutique law firm serving international business and individuals clients on international legal and tax matters in Italy and the United States.
Marco assists foreign and Italian companies entering into or operating in the U.S. market, U.S. companies expanding their business operations overseas in the European Union, Italy and other foreign markets, American citizens and foreign individuals resident in the United States on U.S. international tax reporting and compliance matters, Italian citizens and American and foreign individuals living in Italy on Italian international tax reporting matters, international executives and company personnel moving abroad or assigned or relocating to the U.S. or Italy with pre-immigration or expatriation tax planning advice, and private investors with international tax planning strategies and advice.

Marco is a frequent speaker on international tax panels, publishes regularly on international tax and legal journals, and is an active member of the Italian and New York professional bars. George W. Hawk, Jr., is an accomplished legal executive with 25 years of experience in all aspects of corporate legal management with diverse industries ranging from mining to industrial equipment manufacturing as well as industrial automation and instrumentation. George brings to his clients both legal expertise as well as business management and accounting experience. George has extensive experience advising Board of Directors and Executive Management on fast breaking legal issues, including Corporate Governance, Mergers/Acquisitions/Divestitures, Compliance & Ethics, Securities Regulation, Debt and Equity Financings, International Commercial Transactions, Litigation and Intellectual Property/Technology Licensing.
George served as General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer of Cliffs Natural Resources, a global natural resources company. In that role George oversaw the legal function for the $3 billion company. He helped the company successfully navigate the numerous steel company bankruptcies and served as the Cliffs legal executive for acquisitions in Australia, Brazil, Canada and the U.S. These acquisitions expanded Cliffs from a primarily U.S. iron ore mining company into a global natural resource company with global iron ore and coal operations and with numerous exploration projects.
George began his professional career as an auditor with Ernst & Young. He joined the Cleveland office of Squire Sanders & Dempsey, an international law firm, practicing corporate and employee benefits law. George left private practice to join the legal department of Elsag Bailey Process Automation N.V., with responsibility for legal matters for EBPA’s operations globally, including a European expatriate assignment as the company’s European counsel where he reorganized EBPA’s European operations following the $1.5 Billion Hartman & Braun acquisition. Following the sale of Elsag Bailey, George joined Lincoln Electric Holdings Inc. where he served as Deputy General Counsel with responsibilities for mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, international legal matters and SEC compliance and reporting.
Over his career, George has led acquisitions in Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, France, German, Italy, Korea, Poland, the United Kingdom and Venezuela. He uses his experience as an in-house counsel in multi-national organizations, both U.S and non-U.S. based, as well as his extensive international experience to meet the unique requirements for managing legal issues in a multi-national organization.
